WRL Conservancy

White Rock Lake Conservancy was founded in early 2008 by a group of park enthusiasts at the request of the Dallas Park and Recreation Department. The mission of the Conservancy is to enhance the identity, beauty and safety of White Rock Lake in partnership with Dallas Park and Recreation and other neighborhood and lake volunteer groups. The Conservancy supports implementation of the Dallas’ White Rock Master Plan through major fundraising initiatives and development expertise to meet significant park needs, in addition to collaboration with other organizations. White Rock Lake Conservancy was created to:

• Enhance the identity, beauty and safety of White Rock Lake

• Support the improvement of the hike and bike trails, buildings and park areas

• Coordinate with other organizations with similar objectives The Conservancy partners with the City of Dallas and its Park and Recreation Department as a “Signature Park” and support implementation of the park’s master plan.
