White Rock Lake Conservancy Photo Contest
The White Rock Lake Conservancy photo contest is back! We love the photos you share with us and want to say thank you to those that love White Rock Lake Park as much as we do and want to share their photos of it.
Each participant can submit up to 2 of their favorite photos of White Rock Lake Park on Instagram.
There will be two winners:
Winner #1. WRLC team will narrow the submittals down to 2 finalists and our followers will vote! The photo with the most likes on Instagram will win a one year membership to WRLC and a free registration to Celebration White Rock 2027. Enter by tagging @whiterockdallas and using #26wrlcphoto on Instagram. Requirements: high res image available for print use, location must be White Rock Lake Park, Dallas, TX.
Winner #2. “What East Dallas Means to me.” This winner will be selected by and featured in the East Dallas magazine with credit to the photographer. Enter by tagging @visiteastdallas and use #myeastdallas26 on Instagram

This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram.
Rules and Regulations:
By entering, participants warrant that his or her entry materials are original and do not infringe on any third party’s rights. By entering, participants release and hold harmless the City of Dallas, White Rock Lake Conservancy and sponsors from any liability.
If a recognizable person is in the photograph, a model release must be submitted with the entry and liability is limited to the value of prizes.
All decisions by the WRLC Photo Contest judges will be final and binding.
By entering, participants allow White Rock Lake Conservancy to use the photograph as they see fit, online, in print materials or to sell with no credit given to the photographer.
Types of Photos:
We are looking for striking images of wildlife, the wooded areas, architecture/structures, and the lake/bays. Images will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit. We also encourage copies of historical photos at White Rock Lake to be submitted.
All photographs should accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared. Photos that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, adjustments to color and contrast, etc.) will be disqualified. A maximum of two (2) photos per photographer, please.
