Comerica Bank’s innovative Act Local program supports D-FW organizations

The White Rock Lake Conservancy is proud to celebrate its continued partnership with Comerica Bank through the bank’s innovative Act Local program, which uplifts organizations across the Dallas–Fort Worth area making a lasting difference in their communities.
As part of the Act Local program, Comerica Bank provides local nonprofits with access to its Community Engine, a 12-foot mobile trailer designed to enhance community events and outreach efforts. This unique resource helps organizations like the Conservancy bring people together, share their mission, and create memorable experiences for attendees.
A PARTNERSHIP ROOTED IN COMMUNITY
For more than ten years, Comerica Bank has supported the Conservancy’s work to preserve and improve White Rock Lake, one of Dallas’ most treasured outdoor spaces. From volunteer events to large-scale community celebrations, Comerica’s ongoing commitment has strengthened the impact of signature initiatives such as Celebration! White Rock, an annual event that brings together runners, families, and local supporters.
“Comerica’s support of Celebration! White Rock has helped solidify it as a community event and brought out more runners and volunteers,” said Jennifer Hoesterey, Director of the White Rock Lake Conservancy.
INVESTING IN THE FUTURE OF DALLAS' OUTDOOR SPACES
Comerica’s investment in local partnerships reflects a shared vision for a stronger, more connected Dallas. Through programs like Act Local, businesses and nonprofits work hand in hand to promote civic pride, outdoor recreation, and environmental stewardship.
The Conservancy extends its gratitude to Comerica Bank for its decade of partnership and continued belief in the importance of community collaboration. Together, we are creating opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy, celebrate, and preserve White Rock Lake for years to come.
